This time last year many of us at SEP were down at the Cheltenham Festival, soaking up the atmosphere, as we supported the last event past the post, prior to the first Coronavirus lockdown.
What a strange time that was, as details of the virus started to emerge, and all the hand sanitiser (and toilet roll) was sold out in the shops. To be honest very few of us predicted the serious nature of the situation, the disruption it was about to cause, or the multitude of WhatsApp gags that were going to circulate in the months that followed. It’s amazing to think that a year later we still have a little further to go, as a country, before we can consider any business as usual.
However, it’s great to see some of our regular faces out and about representing Team SEP at Cheltenham again this week. With just 12 out of the 120 or so we would normally enjoy having there, the team is small but just as effective.
Recently we have seen many of our clients growing in confidence about the prospects from early summer onwards. With many events moving dates from spring to summer or autumn to benefit from the developing positivity, and after a year in lockdown ticket sales going wild, there is a real buzz around the world of events now.
So, if you have been missing the world of events, or just missing the world in general, then we really look forward to seeing you out and about with us very shortly.
The calendar is looking good, and we expect to have work available from July right through to after Christmas, so there will be the opportunity for you to come along and get involved once more.
In the meantime, enjoy the racing on the T.V. and stay safe.
Looking forward to returning to views like this in 2022!
